WPOA WAWASEE 250 FESTIVAL

To unite our lake community in celebration, education, and pride

as we prepare for America’s 250th.

The Wawasee 250 Festival celebrates the spirit of Lake Wawasee by bringing our community

together to honor our Fireworks Barge Replacement Campaign Community Donors & Founders,

showcase the new barge fleet, educate families about the art and science of pyrotechnics, and

build anticipation for America’s 250th birthday. Rooted in safety, gratitude, and community

pride, the festival creates a shared experience that strengthens our connection to the lake and to

Wawasee 250 Fireworks Display

For decades, the Wawasee Property Owners Association (WPOA) has staged an Independence Day fireworks show that rivals many of the best. Because of extraordinary community support, we’ve now secured a brand‑new 12‑barge fleet and are building a one‑time, expanded show for America’s 250th birthday!

The 2026 display will be launching from seven positions instead of three and using all twelve new barges, each with new rigging and equipment. The expanded fleet will improve safety, increase capacity, and enhance viewing coverage around the entire lake, while supporting the large 8‑, 10‑, and 12‑inch shells that define the Wawasee show.

The WPOA Annual Independence Day Fireworks Show is 100% paid for by donations. All donations are tax deductible.  To Donate to Wawasee250: https://www.wawaseeassociation.org/donate

Lake Wawasee Annual Fireworks Display

On July 5th, a multi-location launch site will dramatically improve the visual effect of the 2025 Lake Wawasee fireworks celebration but require some knowledge on where best to watch the show.

There are two “fronts” to the Wawasee Fireworks display. The best place to watch the show will be from one of two fronts. Of course, a view from any angle will offer an experience like no other.

The WPOA is still seeking monetary donations to the 2025 Fireworks Fund.

Wawasee Flotilla

Bring your boat to the Spink Condominiums

Saturday, July 5, 2025 - Organize at Noon, Parade starts at 12:30 PM

The Wawasee Flotilla will be celebrating its 64th boat parade this 4th of July weekend, and the theme is “Sounds of Summer!”-Music has played an incredible role in making Wawasee a special place.  Everyone has a song or band that takes them immediately back to the lake.  What music takes you back?  Maybe it’s a memory of dancing at the Waco Pavilion, bobbing to the beats of a pier concert or a live band on the SS Lillypad!  Perhaps favorite tunes while wakeboarding or smooth evening jazz while grilling lakeside.

Get your set list ready to set sail for the ultimate summer Jam.  Join us for a vibrant, music-themed flotilla parade as we cruise the waters of Lake Wawasee in style, bringing the sounds of summer to life!  Decorate your boat (or pier), blast your favorite summer tunes.  or your favorite summer jams and enjoy a day of fun in the sun with friends, family, and fellow boaters. What’s your jam?  Classic rock? Country? Jazz? Rap? Your favorite Movie track?  Maybe even Travis Kelce’s girlfriend. Maybe Jimmy Buffett, Beach Boys, reggae, there are no wrong answers.  Gather your crew and decorate your boat, pier or yard to reflect your musical love of the lake.

The Flotilla Parade will be on Saturday, July 5th @ 12:30 PM, starting at the Spink Condominiums moving counterclockwise around the lake.  You need to register to be eligible for an award/prize (no charge).  Registration forms will be available online at: www.wawaseeflotilla.com, at local retailers, Team Tuttle Mortgage, LLC, or you can call 574.457.3775 or email wawaseeflotilla@gmail.com.

Souvenir T-shirts and sweatshirts will be available online at: flotilla.sgpromostore.com.
