Wawasee Property Owners Association Announces Fireworks Show For 2023

LAKE WAWASEE - The Wawasee Property Owners Association (WPOA) announced the annual Independence Day Fireworks Show, set to illuminate the night sky on July 1 at 10:15 p.m.

The event will be a display of pyrotechnics, according to a news release from WPOA.

The Lake Wawasee Fireworks Show has become a tradition in the community, celebrating not only the Fourth of July holiday but also the unity and spirit of Wawasee residents, stated the release. Each year, this event draws thousands of spectators.

WPOA has partnered with a pyrotechnics company to ensure an experience that will leave attendees in wonder, stated the release.

"The Wawasee Property Owners Association is excited to present the much-anticipated fireworks show," said Chris Campbell, WPOA Board Fireworks chairman. "We have worked tirelessly to make this year's event unforgettable, and we invite everyone to join us for an evening of joy, celebration and community spirit."

The fireworks show will be synchronized to patriotic music broadcast over the radio via Willie 103.5 FM. Be sure to tune the FM radio dial before 10:15 p.m. Streaming the radio station over the internet will not be synchronized with the fireworks.

The Lake Wawasee Fireworks Show will take place at the center of Lake Wawasee. Spectators are advised to view from the shore or from a boat on the water. For exact viewing locations, visit www.wawaseefireworks.com.
